Tyrone and Evan's Wedding

I am not sure where to begin with this one! Tyrone and Evan were so fun and easygoing on their day that they made it all look a bit too easy. Our day started at Hotel 10 where we were met with their family and friends from all over. It was a day of 10's. May 10 at 10.45am at Hotel 10 situated on Rue Sherbrooke in Montreal, the sun beaming through the big windows the bedroom offered. We snapped as the boys got ready amongst the crowded room full of giggles and laughter. Tyrone and his best man Chris had a band of brides mates all wearing white except the maids of honour in navy while Evan had a band of grooms maids all dapper in their suits and tartan bow ties.

Our bridal party photos took place in Oldport Montreal. I heard Evan giggle with his best man Chad about the fact they were driving to their own wedding. Knowing it was a weekend and busy we still managed to work our way through the crowds, beat the wind and still come out on top and better yet, stay on schedule. After all the combinations of photos, excitement and fun started to set in. The boys arrived back with cans of beer and got the party started, while looking over the cirque du soleil tent.

Back at Hotel 10, the guests began to arrive and the day did not disappoint. The sun stayed alive in the sky while we watched Erika Jahn, Tyrone's close friend, officiate their wedding. It was super emotional for all and it must have felt so amazing to have your friend marry you. This year, it has been so fun going to weddings and watching friends and family marry their own. It is so intimate. Everyone looked amazing and I am so happy that we were part of their day. I have always wanted to photograph men in kilts and well lets just say, that there was no shortage at this wedding. One of my favourite moments was watching Tyrone and Evan walk under a tunnel of swords after their beautiful kiss. It was just so vibrant and so colourful.

The reception took place at The Blackwatch Royal Regiment of Canada on Bleury. The guys were bagpiped into the room to meet and greet all their guests. The party started with the opening of an oyster bar and plenty of finger food for all to enjoy. Everyone danced to their amazing Irish band called Squid Jigger. I was really excited about this one, because they played some of my most favourite songs. Their D.J was also amazing, playing 90's tunes all night long. It was one epic party and I am so happy for these two. They looked so happy together and danced the night away as we left. I hope you guys have a lifetime full of happiness. You are an amazing couple and I can't wait to see the honeymoon photos later this year.
